I have been coming to Gonzo’s Sandwich Shop for quite some time now. Since the day I popped in, I have been greeted professionally and like a friend. The service is amazing, they have awesome daily specials, and the food is out of this world. I have tried just about every sandwich on the menu over the years. Each one better than the last. I would highly recommend the pork drizzle as it is very flavorful. I will continue to come here and I will continue to highly recommend Gonzo’s Sandwich Shop.

This PLACE!! OMG! This is the absolute BEST phenomenal Steak and Cheese I have ever tasted!! Even in comparison to some of the most popular and famous places in Philly ( I won't mention names) lol. Here they use hand sliced STEAK. Not the thin pre frozen meat all other places use. It was tender and juicy and flavorful. If I wasn't scared of getting fat I could eat 3 of these a week. Maybe 4. The staff was amazing too. Thanks guys!!

Needed something to eat after going from school to work. Found this small spot and had a really good experience. The Cuban pork was amazing, and I’m excited to try the others. The guy at the desk was super nice and personable.

Just walking in the atmosphere has that sense of homeyness and classic sandwich shop air to it. I was greeted by the owner as soon as I came in, seeing as ive never been here before he was more than happy to help guide me through the menu and give some suggestions as to what is popular/what he likes himself. Ended up getting the Philly Cheesesteak, First off, just off seeing the bread I knew the toast of the bread was amazing. Off my first bite was such an incredible burst and blend of flavor, absolutely an incredible suggestion for anyone wanting to get a great and sandwich and an even better service experience. Definitely coming back again.

Small place, BIG FLAVOR!!!! First time here and it was a lovely. We had the west Tampa, bistec empanizado, French fries & onion rings. It was all delicious. My little one is very picky and as you can see, he was grubbing! Customer service was A1. Will be back for sure. May God continue to bless this business.

Great sandwiches! I got the West Tampa (Cubano) and my wife got the cheese steak. That Cubano is fire, my wife agreed. If you get one sandwich that should be the one. The pork is juicy, tender and super flavorful. They use a bread and butter pickle that adds a sweet crunchy layer that blends with the other ingredients perfectly. She was expecting the cheese steak to be more thin sliced over chunks of steak in the sandwich but other that she liked it. Unfortunately, we're just passing through because I would love to be able to get that Cuban sandwich regularly. I'll definitely be making this a stop anytime I'm in town!

Great food, great service. Pork Drizzle and West Tampa sandwiches are a home run. Large portions cooks fresh. I am glad I stopped here. Would recommend!!

It's so easy to drive right by this hole in the wall, but don't do it! Outstanding sandwiches with total quality ingredients and everything is made fresh as you order. I can't recommend this place enough. I personally recommend the Cheese Steak and the Cuban.
